Background and Interests

I’m Viiu (pronounced “VEE-yoo”), a discovery-led Product Designer with 6+ years experience in language tech making complex, information-heavy systems clear, approachable, and usable.

My approach is shaped by a background in philosophy and linguistics, which trained me to stay oriented to the core question, reason carefully from evidence, and understand both the emotional impact and rational intent of design decisions.

I’ve applied this approach in AI- and language-driven environments.

I work best in early-stage, ambiguous problem spaces, helping teams frame the right problem, surface what matters, and align on direction. I love to work on tools or systems that help people work with complex information—such as editorial tools, research platforms or internal systems that support how information is created and trusted.
